About Barney McLaughlin
Barney McLaughlin
is a Real Estate Broker and a Class A Contractor with McBar. He
moved to the Chester area in 1978, after living in the Tidewater
area. A graduate of Tabb High School in Tabb, VA, he attended
the Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary, where
he received a scholarship in his second year and also was named to
the Dean's List.
Interested in
construction and real estate at an early age, McLaughlin started
framing houses at 16 and received his real estate license at 19.
With McBar since 1986, he has built and remodeled both residential
and commercial properties all around the tri-city area, the Tidewater
region, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
A past president
of the Kiwanis, McLaughlin is a current member of the Chester
Business Association. His hobbies include piloting small
planes, having earned his pilot's license in 1983, and recreational boating.
A respected member
of the business community, McLaughlin's knowledge and expertise in
construction and real estate serve to enhance the services that McBar
Group offers its customers.

About Jackie Humphries
Jackie has been in
Real Estate for 14 years,with the last 12 spent in Property
Management. She finds her job to be very rewarding as well as
challenging. She enjoys meeting and working with new people and
helping them with their housing needs.

side of things, She enjoys the opportunity to help with the marketing
of the property. She espeically takes pride in getting clients

About Kyle McLaughlin
Kyle McLaughlin is
a native of the Chester area. A graduate of Thomas Dale High
School, he went on to attend VCU before starting a career in real
estate. Formerly with Long & Foster, he has been working as
a Realtor and Construction Superintendent with McBar for the past
three years. His hobbies include boating and fishing.

About Tom
Michener
Tom has been a
resident of Chesterfield and Chester for 28 years. He is originally
from Ohio and attended Bowling Green State University. Married
with one son, he is a life member of the Jaycees and a member of the
Chester Rotary and the Chester Lions.
Tom has been in
Real Estate for 12 years and is a Realtor, Associate Broker,
Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and a Graduate of the Realtor
Institute (GRI). He has extensive experience with both selling
homes and working with buyers on previously owned and brand new
homes. He is representing McBar Builders in new home and condo
construction. Tom is experienced in working with customers in
one-story and handicap accessible construction.
Tom has extensive
experience with customers relocating to the area, and is pleased to
